SPRING SHOW JUDGE: Richard A. Byrnes is a flexible and versatile artist capable of utilizing any medium. He currently teaches problem solving in oil, acrylic, pastel and pencil at the Greenwich Art Society Studio School. He has exhibited paintings, prints and sculpture as well as poster and magazine illustration and has taught for 30 years. Filmstrips, slides and video are the speciality of his production Company Double Diamond Corp. See his website
AWARDS First ($100), Second ($50) in Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Photography, Drawing/Graphics, Other Media.
RECEIVING: Tuesday, March 1st, 10 to 1. Stay for a hanging workshop at 1pm. Installation is an art!
RECEPTION: Friday, March 4th from 5 to 7 pm.
PICK UP: Thursday, March 31st at 4:30 pm.
Plan to stay for a painting demo from 5 to 6:30 by Richard A. Byrnes, Judge for this show.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Maximum perimeter size: 140"
Members only. 2011 dues ($25) may be paid at receiving.
One artwork with $20 entry fee. Must be recent work, never shown in this gallery
All works must be framed/wired for hanging
No exposed glass edges or stapled unframed canvas edges nor sawtooth hangers.
Sculptors must supply their own base
COMMISSION: The Garden Education Center takes a 15% commission on sales.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
Greenwich High School student ASOG winners will be on display.
The Art Society of Old Greenwich is proud to encourage students who demonstrate
talent and commitment to the arts. Greenwich High School seniors submit portfolios to be
judged: One is named as Grand Prize at $1000 and two as Runners Up @ $600.
Winners will exhibit two artworks each for the duration of this show.
Students, friends and family members are invited to the reception
